I create installations and sculpture that reframe space and story. Some works are interactive; others still. I often retell myth and folklore from a feminist perspective. Materials shift by project—plaster, paper, repurposed elements. Technology supports encounter. Based in Somerset, UK.

Kirsten Madeira-Revell creates installations and sculpture that reframe space and story. Sometimes interactive and sometimes still, her works often revisit myth and folklore from a feminist perspective, allowing alternate versions to surface. Material choices follow the idea—plaster, paper, repurposed plastics and metals—while the language of line carries from drawing into suspended forms and spatial pathways. Technology is used where it deepens the encounter, not as a subject in itself. With a background in cognitive design and engineering research, she pairs analytical method with intuitive making. Her practice is grounded in social and environmental equality and aims to build precise, humane spaces that invite reflection, participation, agency, and dialogue. She is based in Somerset, UK.
